René Lafferty

René Lafferty has extensive experience in the field of human resources. They started their career in 1992 as an Operations Director at Marriott Management Services. From 1997 to 2013, René worked at Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated, where they held various roles such as Quality Training Manager, Human Resources Manager, Regional HR Director, Director of HR for U.S. Operations, and Sr. Director of HR for U.S. Operations. In these positions, René oversaw multiple functions and activities including HR administration, management training and development, employee relations, agent training and development, and recruitment. Since 2013, René has been employed at Sutherland, where they started as AVP of Human Resources and currently serve as the Head of Corporate Human Resources.

René Lafferty obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Central Washington University, where they studied from 1981 to 1986. René further pursued their education at the University of North Dakota, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Management, General. This degree was completed between 1999 and 2005. In addition to their formal education, René Lafferty also earned a certification as a SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management in December 2015.
