Shawn Birmingham

Shawn Birmingham is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technical support and multimedia production. Currently serving as a Proofpoint Support specialist at Sutherland since October 2018, Shawn has expertise in Linux, TLS certificates, and SMTP protocols. In addition, Shawn has been a Technical Support Manager at Blackboard, providing full stack support. Previous roles include Adjunct Faculty at Rochester Institute of Technology, where Shawn taught Aikido, and various positions in multimedia programming and video production at companies such as Skillsoft, Martino Flynn, and Visual InSeitz. Educationally, Shawn holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology. Skills include video editing, project management, 3D animation, and creative direction.
