Kamal Kumar Kamila

Kamal Kumar Kamila has a strong background in the textile industry, with a focus on quality assurance and operations management. From 1999 to 2001, Kamal worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at Prilla, where they implemented ISO 9000 and Bale management systems. In 2001, Kamal joined Winsome Textile Industries Limited as a Quality Assurance Manager before being promoted to the role of Technical Operations Lead in 2003. During their time at Winsome, Kamal was responsible for overall improvement in yarn quality and innovation of indigenous products. Since 2017, Kamal has been working at Sutlej Textiles and Industries Ltd. as an Executive Vice President of Operations, where they have focused on ensuring quality and productivity, controlling waste and recovery, maintaining quality products and services, and conducting technical discussions with machine manufacturers and suppliers for further improvement.

Kamal Kumar Kamila started their education by pursuing a B.Tech in textiles with a field of study in spinning at Calcutta University, Kolkata from 1982 to 1986. Kamal then continued their studies at the Technology Institute of Textile and Sciences from 1988 to 1989, where they obtained an M.Tech in textiles with a specialization in spinning.
