Bjørn Magnus Sunde

Bjørn Magnus Sunde has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Bjørn Magnus is currently the VP Digital Technology & Business Transformation at Sval Energi, starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Facilities Lead at Sval Energi from June 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Sval Energi, Bjørn Magnus Sunde was a Consultant at BM Sunde AS from April 2020 to May 2021. Bjørn Magnus also served as the Facilities Manager at Hav Energy AS from August 2020 to December 2020.

Bjørn Magnus Sunde gained significant experience at Repsol, where they held multiple roles. Bjørn Magnus worked as the Manager Facilities Engineering from April 2018 to April 2020. Prior to that, they were the Yme New Development Project Lead from July 2016 to April 2018, and the Varg Cessation Project Facilities Engineer from January 2016 to June 2016.

Bjørn Magnus also worked at Talisman Energy, starting as a Mechanical Engineer / Gyda Offshore Safety Officer from July 2007 to January 2011. Bjørn Magnus then served as the Yme Project Engineer from January 2011 to August 2011, followed by the role of Strategy Analyst from August 2011 to October 2012. Bjørn Magnus later became the Varg/Rev Operations Engineer from October 2012 to April 2014, and eventually the Team Lead Engineering from April 2014 to December 2015.

Prior to their time at Talisman Energy, Bjørn Magnus Sunde worked as a Project Engineer at Bjørge from October 2005 to July 2007.

Bjørn Magnus Sunde attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Physics. Bjørn Magnus then pursued further education at the same university from 2007 to 2014 and earned a Master of Management degree with a specialization in Project Management.
