Anaïs MARTINEZ

Anaïs MARTINEZ has a diverse range of work experience in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Anaïs is currently working as a Development Engineer at Svar Life Science AB, where they are involved in the design and production of biological tests using synthetic biology. Anaïs specializes in cell line culture and development, as well as various biopharmaceutical evaluation techniques such as ADCC, CDC, ADCP, induction and neutralization. Anaïs is skilled in flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and neutralization with neutralizing antibodies.

Prior to their current role, Anaïs worked at Sanofi as Deputy Head of Laboratory. Their responsibilities included implementing and applying analytical methods for clinical lot release, stability studies, comparability, and analytical transfer of biopharmaceutical products in a GMP environment. Anaïs also developed a bioassay for in vitro cytotoxic cellular activity determination.

Before joining Sanofi, they worked at Gustave Roussy as an INGENIEUR D’ETUDES, CHARGÉE D’ETUDES, where they contributed to research studies. Anaïs also served as a Renfort COVID-19 at Centre de Ressources Biologiques - CRB, providing support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Anaïs has also gained experience as an Engineer of Studies at Institut Imagine, where they were involved in research projects related to molecular and cellular biology. Anaïs completed internships at ParCC - Paris Cardiovascular Center @ HEGP and Institut Imagine during their undergraduate and graduate studies, respectively, focusing on biochemistry, genetics, and molecular biology.

The following year, from 2016 to 2017, Anaïs attended ESTBA, where they obtained a Licence - Bachelor degree in Recherche biomédicale. Moving forward, they enrolled at Sorbonne University in 2017, focusing on Master 1 Biologie Moleculaire et Cellulaire. Anaïs completed this program in 2018 and continued their studies at Sorbonne University for a Master 2 Biochimie et Génétique de l’ARN degree in the field of Science / recherche clinique / en laboratoire médical et professions paramédicales, which they completed in 2019.
