Cecilia Månsson

Cecilia Månsson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Cecilia is currently working at Svar Life Science AB (formerly Euro Diagnostica AB), where they hold the position of Scientist. In this role, they lead development projects to establish new products and concepts in the fields of autoimmunity and the complement system. Cecilia also improves existing products and supports the organization with scientific and technical knowledge. Prior to this, Cecilia worked as a Research Engineer and Teamleader Bioproduction at the same company.

Before joining Svar Life Science AB, they worked at Lund University as a PhD student. During this time, they underwent postgraduate training, taught and supervised students at the master's level, and was responsible for various laboratory instruments. Additionally, they successfully supervised thesis students to graduation and organized seminars with international speakers. Cecilia'sresearch focus at Lund University included biochemistry, mass spectrometry, protein expression and purification, and amyloid fibrils.

Cecilia's earlier work experience includes roles as a Store Employee at Stoff & Stil, Lab Assistant at Alcontrol Laboratories, Summer Research Intern at AstraZeneca, Summer Research Intern at Lund University, and Summer Research Intern at Svensk Mjölk.

Cecilia Månsson has an extensive education history. Cecilia first attended Katedralskolan, Lund from 2000 to 2003, where they pursued a high school degree in Natural Sciences with a focus on music. Following their high school education, they enrolled at Lund University in 2004 to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedicine, which they completed in 2007. In 2007, they attended Åsa Folkhögskola for a year-long Textile Course. Cecilia then returned to Lund University in 2008 to pursue a Master's Degree in Biomedicine, which they completed in 2009. Finally, they continued their studies at Lund University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry.
