Aaron Gershenberg has extensive work experience in the finance and investment industry. Aaron is currently the Managing Partner and Founder of SVB Capital, a leading investment partner for venture capital firms and technology companies. Aaron previously served as the Sr. Advisor & Founder Partner Emeritus at Silicon Valley Bank Capital and was the Founder & Managing Partner of SVB Capital. Aaron also has a background in strategic planning and governance, as they served as a Board Member for Best Buddies International and America's Foundation for Chess. Additionally, they have experience as a Board Observer for Play Magnus AS and as a Managing Director for FirstCorp, where they provided venture leasing/debt to start-up companies. Earlier in their career, Aaron worked as a Senior Vice President at Union Bank of California and as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte and Touche.

Aaron Gershenberg completed their high school education at Andover High School, earning a High School Diploma in General studies in 1980. Aaron then attended Wesleyan University from 1980 to 1984, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and African Studies. Aaron further pursued their education at Harvard University from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained a Masters of Public Policy degree with a focus on Government and Business. During the same period, Aaron also attended the Harvard Kennedy School, where they completed a Master of Public Policy degree with a specialization in Finance.
