Manousos Kokkinakis

Manousos Kokkinakis is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical engineering and power systems, currently serving as a Power Systems Specialist and Information Technology System Responsible at Svenska kraftnät since May 2023. Previously, Manousos held key roles at Hitachi Energy as a FACTS - R&D Software Developer and Certified Scrum Master from November 2019 to May 2023, focusing on software development and maintenance for industry and utility applications. Prior experience includes positions at ABB AB, where responsibilities ranged from electrical design engineering for power transformers and HVDC systems to system design engineering for utility SVC substation projects. Manousos began the career as a Power Cable Design Engineer at Cablel Hellenic Cables Group and also contributed to projects at Technipetrol Hellas S.A. and LINOS SOLUTIONS LTD. Manousos holds an MBA from Blekinge Institute of Technology, along with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy Systems from the University of Leeds, and a 5-year Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
