Anna Grodecka-Messi is an accomplished Research Economist at Sveriges riksbank since July 2021, previously serving as a Senior Economist and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Lund University School of Economics and Management. Anna's research focuses on macroeconomics, financial stability, and banking, addressing issues such as capital requirements for Swedish banks and household indebtedness. With extensive teaching experience at various prestigious institutions including the Stockholm School of Economics and the University of Bonn, Anna has contributed as a lecturer and course director. Additionally, Anna co-founded Trend Magazine, where journalism centered on economics and finance was the focus. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Economics from The University of Bonn and a Master's degree in finance and banking from SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
