Siniša Cicović

Siniša Cicović has a long and varied work experience spanning several roles and industries. In 1990, they started as a Research Engineer at Unis Institute in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Siniša then moved to STROM telecom S.R.O. in the Czech Republic in 1991, where they worked as a Systems Designer/Programmer. In 1994, Cicović joined Computer Security Technologies AB in Sweden as a Security Systems Designer/Programmer.

In 1996, they transitioned to Entegrity Solutions Corporation in the USA, where they held positions such as Director of Swedish Product Development and Managing Director of Swedish Operations.

Cicović joined Apoteket in 2002, initially as a Manager for IT Solutions, Infrastructure, and Security. Over the years, they held various roles, including Chief Architect & IT Security Manager and Deputy CIO. Siniša also served as the CTO, Deputy CIO, and Head of Digital Transformation and IT Security.

Since 2018, Cicović has been working at Sveriges riksbank. Siniša started as the Head of IT Architecture, IT Security & Vendor Management before transitioning to Head of IT Architecture, IT Security & CBDC Development (e-krona) in 2021. Currently, they are the Head of Technology (CTO) for IT Security & CBDC Development (e-krona).

Siniša Cicović's education history is as follows:

- In 2021, they obtained the CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) certification from (ISC)².

- In 2016, they obtained the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification from (ISC)².

- In 2014, they obtained the Certified Business Architect / Developer certification from Dataföreningen Kompetens in Stockholm.

- From 2004 to 2008, they attended Chefakademin and obtained an Executive MBA degree.

- In 2005, they obtained the Certified Information Security Architect certification from Dataföreningen Kompetens in Stockholm.

- In 2003, they received training in Negotiation Skills from Cognosis in Stockholm.

- In 2003, they completed the UGL Management Training (based on FIRO theory by Will Schutz) at Gällöfsta Ledarskap.

- In 1998, they attended the Management Development Program for Managers in High-Technology Companies at Santa Clara University.

- From 1990 to 1992, they took M.Sc. courses in Computer Sciences at the University of Sarajevo, specifically in the Department of Computer Sciences, Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

- From 1985 to 1990, they obtained a B.Sc.E.E. (Hons.) degree in the Department of Automatics and Electronics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Sarajevo.
