Oleksii Burdin

Oleksii Burdin has extensive work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Oleksii began their career in 2001 as a Pre-press Engineer at Victoria Advertising Agency. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Software Test Engineer at Celenia Software. Oleksii then joined NetCracker as a Senior QA Engineer from 2010 to 2011.

In 2011, they joined Ciklum as a Senior Software Tester and later transitioned into the role of Scrum Master / QA Engineer, where they were responsible for communication, development processes, and business requirements analysis. Oleksii held these roles at Ciklum until 2015.

From 2014 to 2016, Oleksii worked as a Software Testing Tutor and Mentor at GoIT, where they shared their knowledge and expertise with aspiring testers.

In 2015, they joined Cogniance as a Senior QA Engineer. In the same year, they also started working as a QA Consultant at InternetDevels, where they helped solve software testing problems and educated testers on various aspects of the software development process.

From 2016 to the present, Oleksii has been working at Svitla Systems, Inc. as a Senior Test Automation Engineer.

In 2016, they also joined Mate academy as a Software Testing Coach, where they taught people the art and craft of software testing and helped automate tasks using Python.

Overall, Oleksii Burdin has displayed a strong expertise in software testing, with experience in coaching, consulting, and automation.

Oleksii Burdin obtained their Master's degree in electrical engineering, high-voltage engineering, and electrophysics from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' during the period from 2002 to 2008. In addition, they obtained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in December 2012.
