Jon Maxwell

Jon began his broadcasting career fresh out of high school, as the audio operator for Lima, Ohio’s “Sports Report” news program. After serving in many studio production positions, including directing of local programming, he was promoted to Promotions Director where he introduced social media as a prime communications tool to the many viewers and fans of the donor-supported station. As Promotions Director, Jon supported the development and launch of the station’s first full-fledged sports network in 2010. Jon’s distinctive and friendly voice could be heard voicing several station ID’s, PSA’s and local business advertisements, and he also designed several graphics which can still be seen on Lima’s sports network today. Jon began his Swagit career in February 2012 as a video indexer. Upon his promotion to Quality Assurance Supervisor, he spearheaded the development of Swagit’s Quality Assurance Department which is charged with upholding the high standards of Swagit’s on-demand streaming network. In Jon’s current role as Video Department Director, he is committed to providing Swagit’s clients with outstanding customer service and ensuring that Swagit is “Always Connected” to the many jurisdictions it serves.
