Ian Arnell

Ian Arnell has over two decades of experience in leisure and tourism management, currently serving as the Seafront Officer at Swale Borough Council since April 2001, where responsibilities include the day-to-day management and promotion of the island's beaches and seafronts. Additionally, Ian contributes as a Volunteer Speaker for Prostate Cancer UK. Prior roles include Beach Lifeguard at Sheppey Leisure Complex, Fitness Instructor at Leisure Connection, and Duty Manager at Courtesy Leisure. Ian holds several degrees in Tourism and Leisure Studies, with specializations in Sports Science and Fitness, obtained from Canterbury College and Canterbury Christ Church University.
