Jan Mikula

Jan Mikula has extensive experience in product management and development. Jan is currently the Director of Product - Mobile at Swan Bitcoin, where they lead the team in building the Swan mobile app for iOS and Android. Jan is working on improving product management practices and exploring ways to bring Bitcoin to a wider audience.

Before their current role, Jan served as the Director of Product at Salsita Software, where they played a key role in the company's growth and success. Jan transformed a team of Project Managers into Product Managers, guiding clients and increasing their satisfaction. Jan also worked with international clients, such as BayWa and First American, helping them deliver their apps to production and shaping requirements.

Prior to Salsita Software, Jan worked at Fragaria Ltd. as a UX Designer and UI Developer, where they created successful concepts for a financial news app and a TV listening tool. Jan also gained experience at Centrum Holdings as a UX Designer and UI Developer.

Earlier in their career, Jan worked as an XSL Coder at Pears Health Cyber and as a PHP Programmer at INVIA.CZ.

Jan Mikula attended Prague University of Economics and Business from 2008 to 2014, where they earned a degree in Engineer. Jan'sfield of study included Economics and IT.

In March 2021, they completed courses in "Blockchain: Beyond the Basics," "Cryptocurrency Foundations," "Learning Bitcoin and Other Cryptocurrencies," and "Securing Cryptocurrencies." In August 2020, they also obtained a certification in "Product Management: Building a Product Strategy."
