João Vasconcelos

João Vasconcelos is an accomplished finance and strategy professional with extensive experience in corporate development and management. As Chief Strategy Officer and VP of Corporate Development at Swan Bitcoin from January 2024 to January 2025, João has demonstrated leadership in strategic initiatives. Prior to that, a significant tenure at McKinsey & Company from June 2017 to November 2023 included roles as Senior Engagement Manager, focusing on C-level executives across banking and fintech sectors, and as Associate, specializing in strategy development. João also served as a Portfolio Manager at Santander Asset Management from September 2012 to June 2016, managing fixed income funds and interest rate derivatives. Earlier experience includes a position as Risk & Operations Specialist at Squanto Family Office.
