Nicolas Virgüez R.

Nicolas Virgüez R. has a diverse work experience in the financial and payments industry. Nicolas started their career as a Training Banking Consultant at Santander Portugal in 2018. Nicolas then worked as a Financial Reporting Analyst at Rappi from 2019 to 2020. In 2021, they joined Bolt as a Data Analyst, focusing on payments. Their responsibilities included financial analysis, reconciliation, and building data pipelines and monitoring dashboards. In 2022, they joined HiPay as a Financial and Payments Analyst, where they supported the CFO in financial closing and banking reconciliation, provided expertise on data security and payments anomalies, and worked with clients such as Rolland Garros and Air France. Currently, Nicolas is a Payments Analyst at Swan.

Nicolas Virgüez R. began their education in 2014 at the Universidad de Los Andes, where they pursued a Magister in Economics (PEG). Nicolas completed this degree in 2019. In 2016, Nicolas attended the Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid Universidad Europea, where they focused on the study of business and obtained a certificate in Leadership and management of high-performance teams.

In 2018, they went on a Bachelor's Exchange program at the Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal, specializing in International Economics and Management.

In 2020, Nicolas started studying at the IÉSEG School of Management, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance. Specifically, their focus was on Financial Technology and Banking. This program, which took place in Paris and Lille, France, was completed in 2022.

In terms of additional certifications, Nicolas obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP in November 2020. Nicolas also obtained the EF SET English Certificate C1 from EF Education First in February 2019. Additionally, in June 2016, they earned a certificate in "Liderazgo y gestión de equipos de alto rendimiento" from the Universidad Europea.
