Wong Peng Yew

Wong Peng Yew has extensive work experience in various telecommunications and technology companies. Wong Peng is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer (Services Business) at Swap Asia since April 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of General Manager, Operator Services at Brightstar Corp. from December 2021 to March 2022.

Wong also held key roles in other notable companies such as Samsung Electronics, where they served as the Head of IT & Mobile Product Marketing from August 2018 to July 2019. Wong Peng also worked at StarHub, starting as an Assistant General Manager, Consumer Sales from December 2011 to March 2016, and later served as the Head of Broadband from April 2016 to July 2018. Wong was also the AVP, Head of Hardware Devices at StarHub from April 2018 to July 2018.

Additionally, Wong has experience working at Dell as a Senior Regional Retail Manager from February 2011 to December 2011, DiGi Telecommunications as the Head of Retail & Device Management from January 2009 to May 2010, Maxis Communications Bhd as the General Manager, Head of Handsets Management in 2008, and Singtel as a Senior CPE Manager from October 2004 to November 2006.

Wong's early career includes roles at Brigthstar Logistics Pte Ltd as the Regional Director, Product Management from December 2006 to December 2007, and at StarHub as the Sales and Operations Director from June 2001 to September 2004. With diverse experience across multiple companies and roles, Wong Peng Yew possesses a strong background in the telecommunications and technology industry.

Wong Peng Yew completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business & Management Studies from the University of Bradford, from 1994 to 1997.
