Britta Breckon

Britta Breckon has extensive experience in HR and people operations. Britta is currently working at Swappie as the Head of HR, overseeing the People function in the CEE region. Prior to this, they were the Regional HR Manager at Swappie, responsible for scaling the Estonian site and opening a CE center. Britta also held the role of HR & Talent Manager at Swappie, helping build and scale the company's first international operations site.

Before joining Swappie, Britta worked at Paxful as the Senior People Operations Manager, leading the People strategy and global People Operations team. Britta achieved a successful transition to fully remote work during the pandemic and ensured continuity in hiring and onboarding.

Britta also has experience at Bolt, where they served as an Operations Manager and People Partner. In these roles, they supported the Engineering and Product teams, provided HR support to managers and executives, and led projects such as global employee engagement surveys and developing an employment law handbook.

Prior to Bolt, Britta co-founded PersonalHR, where they provided HR services and developed an HR auditing tool. Britta also worked at Vickers as an HR & Change Manager, leading HRIS implementation and setting up employee lifecycle processes.

Britta'scareer in HR began as an HR Intern at Bright Future Software, where they gained experience in HR administration, recruitment, and employee orientation.

Britta Breckon completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Management (Hospitality) at The University of Salford from 2007 to 2010. Britta then pursued a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management and Development (CIPD level 7) at the same university from 2010 to 2012. Most recently, they attended Tallinn University from 2022 to 2023, where they earned a Nanodegree in PR & Communication.
