Raoul Chiesa

Founder, Visionary, CIO at Swascan

Raoul Chiesa has extensive experience in the field of information security and cyber defense. In 2012, they founded Security Brokers, a company that focuses on providing solutions and services in critical ICT security and cyber defense issues. Raoul has also co-founded Swascan in 2016, which is a cloud-based security testing and evaluation platform. In 2014, Chiesa became the Cultural Attaché for Italy in APWG.EU and a member of the Scientific Committee for the CFP selection. Raoul worked as an Independent Senior Advisor on Cybercrime at UNICRI since 2006, primarily focusing on cybercrime-related projects and research. Chiesa has also held important roles in various organizations, including OWASP (Italian Chapter) and ISECOM, where they served as Director of Communication and Communications Manager, respectively. Raoul has been involved with AIIC, the Italian Association of Experts on Critical Infrastructures, since 2015, serving as a member of the Steering Committee and Director for the relationship with associations. Chiesa has contributed to ENISA as a PSG member from 2010 to 2015 and has been recognized and added to the "Reservoir List" of cybersecurity experts. Additionally, they have collaborated with Cyberdefcon on cybercrime, information warfare, and cyber investigations.

Raoul Chiesa has a long history of education and experience in information security. Raoul has given numerous lectures and talks on information security-related topics from 1997 to 2011.
