Amir Atai has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several high-level roles in various companies. Amir is currently the Co-Founder and VP of Business Development & Solutions at Sway AI since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the CEO & Co-founder of Sway AI from February 2021 to October 2022.

Before their involvement with Sway AI, Amir worked as an Advisor and Consultant to startup CEOs and VCs at Entrepreneur Expert Advisors from February 2018 to March 2021.

Amir'sprevious positions include Vice President of Global Innovation Partnerships at Coriant from September 2017 to January 2018, Vice President of Solutions at Parallel Wireless from January 2016 to August 2017, and VP of Solutions at Affirmed Networks from November 2011 to December 2015.

Amir also held positions at Ericsson, where they served as VP & CTO for the Verizon account and later as VP of Network Transformation for North America from 2008 to 2011. Amir worked as a Lead Scientist at Lucent and Alcatel-Lucent from 2004 to 2008, and at Telica from 2003 to 2004.

Furthermore, Amir had a long and influential tenure at Bellcore/Telcordia from 1985 to 2002. Amir served as the Executive Director & Chief Scientist, leading an engineering organization responsible for analyzing the performance of telecommunications networks and consulting on capacity management and expansion for emerging technologies. Amir'sfocus was on Intelligent Networks and Next Generation Networks Performance and Operations.

Throughout their career, Amir Atai has showcased their expertise in business development, solutions architecture, innovation partnerships, and leadership roles, making significant contributions to the companies they have worked for.

Amir Atai completed their education in a sequential manner, starting with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, which they obtained between the years 1980 and 1983. Amir then pursued a Masters of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution, completing it between 1983 and 1984. Amir Atai later went on to attain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, studying from 1988 to 1994.
