Austin Richards

Austin Richards has a diverse background in environmental research and consulting. Austin worked as an Ecologist/Wetland Scientist at SWCA Environmental Consultants from May 2013 to the present. Prior to that, they served as a Research Associate at TxDOT from May 2011 to May 2013. Austin's career in environmental research began as a Field Technician at the Institute of Renewable Natural Resources from January 2009 to May 2011. In this role, they conducted research on local endangered plant species and collaborated with the Brazos Valley Solid Waste Management Agency to provide data for land recovery efforts.

Austin Richards completed their Bachelor's Degree in Renewable & Natural Resources from Texas A&M University from 2008 to 2011. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Ecology from the same university, which they completed from 2011 to 2013.
