Eric Myers

Eric Myers has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Eric currently serves as the Director of Strategic Growth at SWCA Environmental Consultants since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Transmission and Market Strategy at Ranger Power from February 2022 to December 2022.

From 2019 to 2022, Eric served as the Director of Business Development Resources at SWCA Environmental Consultants. Before that, they joined American Transmission Company in 2013 as the Manager of Business Development, where they worked on expanding electric transmission opportunities beyond the company's primary service territory in Wisconsin and Michigan.

Eric's earlier experience includes working at Duke Energy as the Director of Integration, Energy and Environmental Policy, where they were responsible for maintaining alignment of environmental policy strategies and business realities. Eric also served as Manager of Origination, where they handled various responsibilities including contract negotiations, portfolio optimization, and the development of new supply opportunities.

In addition, Eric worked at Edison Electric Institute as the Manager of Business and Policy Integration, Executive Director, and Manager of Environmental Strategies. Eric was involved in aligning the organization's public policy advocacy efforts with business strategies, government relations liaison, and developing issue management strategies regarding environmental regulation of the electric power industry.

Eric began their career as an Intern at the Office of Senator Russ Feingold in 1996.

Eric Myers obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1993 to 1997. During the same period, they also earned an Undergraduate Certificate in Environmental Studies from the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. From 1999 to 2001, Eric attended The George Washington University School of Business, where they received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Strategy & Finance. It is not specified when Eric obtained the Environmental Studies certification from the Nelson Institute.
