Jason Sigismondi has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and environmental conservation. Jason currently works as an Assistant Staff Biologist at SWCA Environmental Consultants, where they assist with conducting field studies related to natural resources. This includes assessments of threatened/endangered species, wetland delineations, and avian/wildlife surveys. Jason also operates vehicles during fieldwork. Prior to this, Jason worked as a Southwestern Willow Flycatcher Field Technician at SWCA Environmental Consultants.

Before joining SWCA Environmental Consultants, Jason worked as a Zookeeper at Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park, where they were responsible for the care and well-being of the zoo's animals. Jason also has experience as a Stewardship Coordinator at the National Audubon Society, where they coordinated various stewardship activities.

In addition, Jason has worked as a Biological Technician at the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey. Their responsibilities included monitoring and researching various bird populations, conducting nest checks, behavior observations, and predator identification. Jason also worked as an Interpretive Naturalist at New Jersey Audubon, where they assisted visitors with bird identification and migration phenomena.

Jason's work experience also includes roles as a Teaching Assistant at Monmouth University, where they assisted with laboratory experiments and field trips for a Botany course, and as an Intern at the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey, where they monitored beach nesting birds and their colonies.

In terms of certifications, Jason has obtained Wilderness First Aid from NOLS Wilderness Medicine in February 2019, and Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED from the American Heart Association in January 2019. Furthermore, Jason has achieved the Open Water Diver certification from PADI in May 2012.
