Continuing their education, they became a Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina in December 2013, and later obtained the Certified Floodplain Manager certification from The Association of State Floodplain Managers in March 2014. Joshua's engineering expertise expanded to various states, as they also became a Professional Engineer in Maryland, South Carolina, and Virginia in 2014 and 2015. Joshua C. has obtained additional certifications related to stormwater management and erosion control, including the Certified Stormwater BMP Inspection & Maintenance Professional certification from North Carolina State University in December 2015, the BMP Maintenance Certifier (BMC) certification from the City of Durham in March 2016, and the BMP Certifying Engineer (BCE) certification from the same institution in March 2016.
