Kaitlin Wilms

Kaitlin Wilms has a diverse range of experience in the field of environmental biology. Kaitlin'smost recent position was as a Staff Biologist at SWCA Environmental Consultants, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Biologist/Ecologist at Tetra Tech from October 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining Tetra Tech, Kaitlin served as a Wildlife Biologist at Whitetail Environmental LLC from November 2020 to October 2021. In this role, they assisted with habitat management, prescribed burning, GIS, and wildlife management. Kaitlin was responsible for managing a large area of land for the conservation of various species.

In 2020, Kaitlin also worked as an NEPA Specialist at Sol Solutions, LLC from July to November. Kaitlin provided assistance in NEPA functions at U.S. Army Garrison Fort Gordon. Prior to this, they had a similar NEPA Specialist role at Tetra Tech from November 2019 to July 2020, where they assisted government personnel with NEPA functions.

Kaitlin'swork experience also includes roles as a Research Assistant at UGA Savannah River Ecology Laboratory, Texas State University, Texas Tech University, and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). These roles involved conducting various research projects, such as studying avian species, small mammals, wild pigs, and eastern wild turkeys, as well as working on projects related to bat fatalities, mule deer, quail, bullfrog tadpoles, and feral hogs.

Overall, Kaitlin Wilms has acquired a wide range of skills and expertise through their work experience in environmental biology, with a focus on research, conservation, and NEPA functions.

Kaitlin Wilms attended Texas Tech University from 2014 to 2018. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Management and Policy.
