Lisa Demarais

Lisa "LC" Demarais is a professional with extensive experience in architectural history and project management. Currently serving as Project Architectural Historian and Project Manager at SWCA Environmental Consultants since August 2023, Lisa has previously held roles as Associate Architectural Historian at HDR and PaleoWest. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Architectural Historian at ASM Affiliates and Applied EarthWorks, Inc., where responsibilities included conducting archival research, field surveys, and preparing technical reports compliant with various preservation acts. Early career work included a position at the City of Oregon City, focusing on historic preservation and community outreach. Lisa holds a Master of Historic Preservation from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Georgia State University.
