Karin Viertel

Karin Viertel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Karin'smost recent position is as a Finance Officer at the Embassy of Sweden, where they started in May 2023. Prior to this, they held several roles at SWEA International, Inc., including Vice President SWEA Austria, Medlemskapsadministratör SWEA Austria, and Webmaster SWEA Austria. Karin joined SWEA International, Inc. in January 2022. Karin also worked as a Project Controller and PMO Commercial & Contract Services at VTU Engineering from March 2021 to April 2023. Before that, they worked as Ekonomi & Finans at both Scan-Shipping and Strait Air Transport from September 2018 to May 2020. Additionally, Karin served as Treasurer SWEA Göteborg at SWEA International from February 2018 to May 2020 and as an Accounting Consultant at LIAB Load Indicator AB from February 2018 to August 2018. Karin was also Treasurer SWEA Singapore at SWEA International from February 2013 to March 2017. Karin's earlier roles include Librarian and Treasurer at Swedish Supplementary Education School from May 2010 to December 2013, as well as Club Assistant at German Association from October 2011 to January 2013.

Karin Viertel completed their Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of London from 2013 to 2017. Karin also pursued advanced training in private banking at UBS Key Training Advanced from 2000 to 2001. In 1996, they obtained a Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) certificate in Advanced English. Additionally, in 1995, they earned a Cambridge English First (FCE) certificate in English. In 1993, Karim Viertel attended Minerva (AKAD) Business School, where they achieved a Handelsdiplom VSH. That same year, they obtained a TestDaF (Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache) certificate from the ICC International Certificate Conference and Goethe-Institut.
