Vice President, Head CMC Science And Technology at Swedish Orphan Biovitrum

Didier Moerenhout has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Didier is currently the Vice President, Head CMC Science and Technology at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB, where they lead and manages the CMC development, Science and Technology department. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President Technical Operations at Ichnos Sciences. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at Novartis, first as the Global Head MS&T Novartis Biologicals ESO, leading a team supporting operations for launches, transfers, and technical investigation of Novartis biological products. Didier then served as the Global Technology Transfer Lead, responsible for the technology transfer portfolio and collaboration with strategic partners. Before joining Novartis, they held various roles at Pfizer, including Head of External Supply Europe Technical Services, Site Head of Omaha Vaccines, and Manufacturing Manager. Didier began their career at GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals, where they worked as a Project Manager and Manufacturing Team Leader.

Didier Moerenhout holds an Engineer degree in Biotechnology from the Université catholique de Louvain. Didier also pursued a Master's degree in Management Sciences from the same institution.
