Kurt Liittschwager

Kurt Liittschwager, PhD has held various roles throughout their work experience. Kurt began their career as a Research Scientist at Cytokine Networks, Inc. in 1997 and subsequently worked as a Senior Experiment Scientist at NASA Ames Research Center (Lockheed Martin Inc.) from 1999 to 2006. Kurt then joined Takara Bio USA, Inc. as a Technical Communications professional from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they served as an Associate Editor at ALEX EDELMAN & ASSOCIATES from 2010 to 2012. Kurt then worked as a Scientific Writer at 4Clinics from 2012 to 2019 before transitioning to AB Science as a Senior Medical Writer and Regulatory Affairs professional from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Medical Writer at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ) since 2021. Additionally, Kurt has recently been promoted to the role of Principal Medical Writer at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ) in August 2023.

Kurt Liittschwager, PhD obtained a B.A. in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from UC Santa Barbara between 1978 and 1982. Kurt further pursued their education at Stanford University School of Medicine from 1986 to 1995, where they earned their Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology.
