Nils Kinnman

Nils Kinnman serves as the Head of Global Medical Affairs and Clinical Development at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ) since August 2021, holding additional roles as VP Head Medicine Development Leaders and VP Medicine Development Leader for pegcetacoplan. Kinnman previously worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals as Global Therapeutic Area Lead in Immunology from October 2012 to August 2021, and held positions at Human Genome Sciences and Merck Serono, where responsibilities included leading Medical Affairs in Europe and serving as Senior Medical Director for Global Clinical Development in Autoimmune and Inflammatory Diseases. Earlier in the career, Kinnman was a Drug Safety Physician at AstraZeneca and a Senior Physician at Karolinska University Hospital, specializing in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Internal Medicine. Kinnman holds an M.D. from Karolinska Institutet and a Ph.D. from the same institution, alongside education from Cardiff University, IMD, and London Business School.
