Omar Sefiani

Omar SEFIANI is a seasoned professional in statistical programming with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Statistical Programming at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB since September 2020, Omar previously held leadership positions at Cytel from March 2017 to August 2020, including Associate Director and Statistical Programming Group Leader. Omar's career began at Boehringer Ingelheim, where responsibilities included leading programs to secure the AMM for the new Ofev® drug. Omar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne, earned between 2003 and 2006.
