Ellen Gentry

Ellen Gentry is a certified registered nurse anesthetist with extensive experience in anesthesia, currently serving as an independent contractor at Cortex Anesthesia LLC since August 2022 and at Sweet Dreams Anesthesia, Inc. since April 2019. Ellen has been employed by American Anesthesiology since November 2015. Prior to specializing in anesthesia, Ellen worked as a critical care registered nurse in both the neuro-ICU and pediatric ICU at Erlanger Health System from May 2005 to May 2013, as well as a registered nurse at a children’s hospital. Additionally, Ellen served as an adjunct instructor for pediatric nursing clinicals at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in early 2013. Academically, Ellen holds a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, alongside an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing from Chattanooga State Community College.
