Emma Matthes Mph

Emma Matthes, MPH, is an experienced epidemiologist currently serving as an Epidemiologist Intermediate at the Minnesota Department of Health since November 2023. Prior to this role, Emma worked as an Epidemiology Team Member at Hennepin County from August 2020 to November 2023, where responsibilities included data management, statistical analysis, and report development to support public health initiatives. Emma's work in COVID-19 response involved various roles, including managing a team for vaccination processes and scheduling, as well as conducting public testing events. Emma holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Global Health from the University of St. Thomas. Emma also has a longstanding position as a Mixer at Sweet Martha's Cookie Jar since August 2012 and previously served as Lead Sales Operations Specialist at Go Next Inc. from March 2014 to August 2020.
