Chris Nichols has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Chris began their career as a Trainee QS at Francis C Graves and Partners (PQS) in 1974, and eventually moved on to Mowlem Building as a Project QS. In 1984, they joined Cementation Construction Limited as a Senior QS before transitioning to Pearce Construction, where they progressed to the role of Executive Commercial Manager. At Pearce Construction, they also took on project management responsibilities for key projects and played a role in the development of Crest Construction Management division. After their time at Pearce Construction, Chris served as the Commercial Director at ROK Property Solutions PLC, Bouygues Construction, and M+W Group, where they were heavily involved in commercial strategy and contract terms. Chris then joined EDF (UK) as a Consultant before becoming the Director of Business Strategy at Sweet Projects, a position they took on in 2023 after initially joining as the Commercial Director in 2020.
Chris Nichols attended Bristol University - UWE (Formerly Bristol Polytechnic) in the UK from 1976 to 1980, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree. Chris also obtained a certification as a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 1997.
