Head of Alliances and Energy Projects at Sweetch Energy

Antoine Ferrant has a diverse and extensive work experience. Antoine currently holds the position of Head of Alliances and Energy Projects at Sweetch Energy since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at TRACTEBEL where they served as the Head of Energy from 2018 to 2022. In this role, they led engineering activities in various areas such as hydrogen, renewables, offshore energy, thermal and gas, and T&D infrastructure for power generation. Antoine also served as the CEO of Tractebel Engineering Ltd., where they successfully expanded the company's engineering competencies in renewables and positioned them in the Mekong countries, particularly Vietnam.

Before joining TRACTEBEL, Antoine worked at ENGIE as the SVP of Business Development from 2014 to 2018. Antoine also gained experience as a Business Development Manager at GDF SUEZ Energy International, where they led a project to review and transform underperforming thermal generation assets.

Earlier in their career, Antoine held positions at E-CL, GDF-SUEZ as a Business Developer and at Tractebel Engineering as a Project Manager in Nuclear Engineering. Antoine began their professional journey as a Consultant in Nuclear Engineering at Altran-Europe.

Throughout their career, Antoine Ferrant has showcased their skills in leading engineering activities, business development, and successfully positioning companies in the energy sector for the transition towards zero carbon.

Antoine Ferrant completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree at KU Leuven Faculty of Engineering Technology - De Nayer Campus in 1996-1998. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Nuclear Engineering from ISI Gramme in 1998-2000. Antoine then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science at Université catholique de Louvain from 2000-2002. In 2012-2013, Antoine enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at IE Business School. Antoine later attended Queen's University in 2013 for another Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, but the field of study is not specified. Antoine completed their education at College Saint Michel, with a degree not specified, in or before 1995.
