Kayla Hyink

Kayla Hyink (Werlinger), CPA, currently serves as the Director of Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting at sweetgreen, a position held since March 2021. Prior experience includes over eight years at BDO USA, LLP, where Kayla held the role of Assurance Senior Manager, focusing on audits within the restaurant, consumer products, and manufacturing sectors, while also consulting on various accounting topics. Additionally, Kayla worked as a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services, handling financial and accounting due diligence engagements for middle market and private equity clients. Kayla holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management, obtained in 2011.
