Thomas Taylor

Thomas Taylor has a strong background in software engineering and technical leadership. Thomas is currently working as a Senior User Interface Engineer at Swell since May 2023. Previously, Thomas founded and worked as a Software Engineer at Sorry Company from September 2011 to the present. At A&S Labels Pty Ltd, they served as a Technical Lead from November 2022 to June 2023, overseeing the deployment and management of two eCommerce brands. Before that, Thomas was a Senior Software Consultant at Alembic from September 2021 to November 2022, where they contributed to various projects including an EdTech scheduling system, a FinTech reporting system, and the company website. Thomas also mentored junior consultants during their time at Alembic. Prior to that, Thomas worked as a Software Engineer at Asseti, AirService, Vendorable, and Troop Themes, and as a Technical Producer at R/GA and whiteGREY.

Thomas Taylor obtained their education history in a chronological order. In 2006 to 2007, they attended Design College Australia and earned a Diploma in Visual Design with a focus on Computer Based Design. In 2012, they briefly attended Bloc to study Full Stack Web Development. From 2013 to 2014, they attended Bond University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Communication (Business) degree with a specialization in Marketing Communications Business & Advertising. Thomas Taylor also holds additional certifications such as being a Shopify Expert and having completed the General Flying Progress Test at Flight School Australia. Thomas has also received training in Media.
