Carrie E. Carbone

Carrie E. Carbone has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. Carrie E. began their career in 1992 as a summer intern at SEI. From 1999 to 2003, they worked as an associate at Craig and Macauley Professional Corporation. Carrie E. then moved to Chernesky, Heyman & Kress P.L.L. as an associate from 2003 to 2006. From 2006 to 2011, they were a Senior Bank Regulatory and Financial Institutions Counsel at Bracewell LLP. In 2011, they joined Think Finance as Associate General Counsel and was promoted to General Counsel in 2014. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at TMX Finance Family of Companies as Chief Compliance and Corporate Counsel, Chief Legal Officer, SVP of Compliance and General Counsel, and SVP of Compliance and Product General Counsel. In 2022, they joined Swell as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.

Carrie E. Carbone attended Bellbrook High School from 1988 to 1992. Carrie E. then attended The Ohio State University from 1992 to 1996, obtaining a B.S. in Psychology and a B.S.B.A. in Marketing. Carrie E. then went on to Boston University School of Law, where they obtained their J.D. in Law from 1996 to 1999.
