Makayla Sprague

Makayla Sprague has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Makayla began their career as a Dance Instructor at the American Academy of Ballet in 2011, where they taught for seven years. During this time, Makayla also worked as a Freelance artist, focusing on dance. In 2018, they took on roles as a Barista at Organic 3 Cafe and as a Server at The Melting Pot Restaurants. Makayla also gained experience as a Dancer on Saturday Night Live and as an Extra. Makayla then joined lululemon as an Educator in August 2019 and worked there until 2020. Makayla's passion for dance led their to join the Disney Cruise Line as a Professional Dancer in March 2020, and they also worked as a Dancer there for a brief period. In the same year, Makayla became a Freelance Marketing Manager, utilizing their skills in marketing. In 2019, they gained further marketing experience as the Team Lead and Marketing Projects Coordinator at SWERVE Fitness. Currently, Makayla is the Partnerships & Community Manager at Maison Matador, a role they started in August 2022. Makayla Sprague obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Mercyhurst University between 2014 and 2018. Makayla studied dance and public relations during their time there. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2014, they attended City Honors High School where they earned an International Baccalaureate diploma.
