Daan Hootsen

Daan Hootsen has extensive experience in safety and security within the rail and public safety sectors. Currently serving as a QHSE functionaris at SWIETELSKY RAIL BENELUX B.V. since August 2020, involvement includes assessing plans during the tender phase and collaborating with project teams throughout execution. Prior roles include a safety advisor at ProRail from April 2010 to August 2020, where responsibilities encompassed advising management and inspecting safety compliance in rail projects. Earlier experience includes positions at the Ministry of Safety and Justice, ADT, and CSU Security Services, focusing on terrorism prevention, security advising, and facility security coordination. Daan Hootsen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Integrale Veiligheidskunde from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and has further education in Social Juridical Service.
