Dave Matthews

Dave Matthews has a varied work experience, beginning in 2008 as a PC Repair Technician. In 2009, they worked as a Teaching Assistant for California MESA, followed by a Research Assistant position at NASA Ames Research Center in 2010. In the same year, they were a Senior Lab Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz. From 2011 to 2014, Dave worked as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at Oregon State University. In 2014, they began a role as a Dry Etch Process Engineer at Jireh Semiconductor, a subsidiary of Alpha & Omega Semiconductor. In 2016, they took a break before becoming a Lab Manager at Distant Focus Corp. In 2020, Dave began their current role as a Senior Engineer at Swift Coat.

Dave Matthews received their BS in Applied Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2011. Prior to that, they attended American River College from 2007-2009, where they completed general education courses. Dave then went on to Oregon State University, where they obtained an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2014, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Management for Science Professionals in 2013.
