Betty Harwood is an accomplished communications and professional development leader with extensive experience in corporate environments. Currently serving as the Director of Communications & Professional Excellence at Swift Communications since February 2007, Betty leads a team focused on human resource services for over 650 employees, emphasizing recruitment, retention, and training initiatives. Previously, Betty held positions such as Director of Digital at Resort Technology Partners, LLC, where oversight of professional services and a $2M P&L was key, and as Chief Operating Officer at PlanetClick.com, where operational leadership was provided to a technology team. Betty's career also includes significant roles at IBM Global Services, culminating as an eBusiness Principal, where responsibilities included revenue generation and talent management. Betty earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky University.
