Monica Howard currently serves as the Director of Permitting at Swift Current Energy, starting February 2024. Previously, Monica held the position of Head of Environmental and Regulatory at Navigator CO2 Ventures from October 2021 to October 2023, where leadership was provided in securing permits for a $3.4 billion carbon capture project. Earlier roles include serving as Head of Content at Transect, Project Consultant at Phillips 66, and Sr. Director of Land and Environmental at Crestwood Midstream Partners LP, among others. Monica’s extensive background in environmental consulting and regulatory strategy spans over two decades, beginning with an Environmental Scientist position at AECOM and advancing through various leadership roles in prominent energy companies. Monica holds a degree in Land Reclamation from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
