Melissa Bailey has over 18 years of work experience in various roles. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at Klein Tools, where they drafted detailed correspondence to high-end clients, wrote emails, edited corporate documents, maintained an extensive archive database, and handled all stockholder correspondence. From 2007 to 2008, they were self-employed as a freelance writer, writing thousands of pieces ranging from blog posts to eBooks to print materials and publishing two articles in the travel magazine Nomad. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at Wound Care Advantage as the VP of Corporate Operations, where they worked cross-departmentally to streamline implementation processes and led various corporate projects working directly with the executive team. Melissa also represented the organization at health fairs for workforce recruitment and actively participated in the vetting and screening of potential candidates. From 2013 to 2017, they were the VP of Sales and Business Development and President at Wound Care Advantage, where they led the acquisition of all new revenue streams for the organization while directly selling to hospitals and health systems. From 2017 to 2022, they are the VP of Sales and Marketing at Swift Medical, where they work with sales teams across the healthcare continuum to bring digital wound imaging technology to the acute and post-acute space and partners with marketing professionals to ensure balance and support of marketing and sales initiatives.

Melissa Bailey received their Master of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Trinity International University between 2004 and 2007. Melissa previously earned their Bachelor of Arts in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor from Moody Bible Institute between 2001 and 2003.
