RK Chaganti

RK Chaganti is the current Vice President of Service Operations at Swift Navigation. Prior to this, they were the Head of Global TechOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and Global Campus Infrastructure & Operations at Rubrik, Inc. from January 2018 to December 2020. In this role, RK provided vision and managed daily operations of core infrastructure and platforms, ensuring that infrastructure and platform support SLAs were established and metrics were collected and reviewed on a regular basis with executive management. RK was also a key member of the Senior Leadership team, directing the overall infrastructure and platform strategy of the company through active participation with executive management, external service organizations, and vendors. RK increased the adoption of incident/problem management, capacity management, and availability management in partnership with key stakeholders. RK also managed End User services including 24x7 support for applications and infrastructure, hardware, and collaboration tools. RK has also been responsible for Bend the Cost Curve to get the company to financial viability / stability.

RK's teams have included Private Cloud Engineering Services, Public Cloud Engineering, Global Network Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Site Operations Center, DB Engineering, Tools & Automation Engineering , Capacity Planning, Performance Engineering, Service/Change Management, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Center Engineering, Fleet Management, Global Campus Infrastructure / Operations, Future of Work / End-User Services / End-Point security.

RK Chaganti has a MS in Computer Applications/Science from Andhra University, a BS in Mathematics from Andhra University, and is currently working on a Business Administration degree from University of California, Santa Cruz. RK Chaganti is also a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance.

RK Chaganti works with Joel Gibson - EVP, Automotive, Michael Horne - EVP, Worldwide Sales, and Fergus Noble - Co-Founder & Chief Technical Officer. RK Chaganti reports to Timothy Harris, Co-Founder & CEO.
