Tanya Kavka

Tanya Kavka joined the Swift Solar team in January 2023 as a Senior Process Engineer to work on process development and scaling. She received her PhD at Charles University in Prague. She spent the first years of her career in academia working in the Institute of Plasma Physics Academy of Sciences in Czech Republic, where she was developing thermal plasma torches for various applications including renewable energy. After moving to the U.S., she joined a PVD specialized company Acree Technologies as a scientist, where she developed several thin film deposition processes for various industries. All her free time is dedicated to her family. She wants this world to be a better place for her children and sees Swift as an opportunity to contribute necessary changes for the health of our planet.
