Joaquin Guitart

Joaquin Guitart has a diverse background in project management and construction. Most recently, they have been an Implementation Engineer at SwiftComply since 2022. From 2020 to 2021, they were a Project Management and Home Renovation Consultant, where they standardized the design and format for quote sheets and designed and remodeled a bathroom and residential kitchen. From 2019 to 2020, they took a 6-month work and holiday sabbatical in Sydney, Australia, where they designed a new tagging system and developed a system to track new orders digitally. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Empresa Constructora Moller & Pérez-Cotapos S.A., first as a Real Estate Project Manager, then as a Construction Superintendent, and finally as a Construction Quality Assurance Coordinator. In these roles, they oversaw financial management of project budgets, managed 12 projects, and oversaw the completion of a $16M residential high-rise building with 4 levels of underground parking. Joaquin also oversaw quality control for the project and engaged in field measurement and site verification activities.

Joaquin Guitart has a varied educational background, beginning with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Constructor from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, obtained in 2012. Joaquin then went on to pursue a degree in Real Estate Management and Project Evaluation from Universidad de Chile in 2016. In the same year, they also obtained a BIM 3D modeling tools degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, as well as an Excel, Intermediate - Advanced Level certification from Cámara de Comercio de Santiago. In 2021, they completed a Programa Especializado - Python for Everybody certification from Coursera, and a Verified International Academic Qualifications certification from World Education Services. Currently, they are enrolled in App Academy's Full Stack Web Development intensive 6-month bootcamp, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
