Victor Torres

Victor Torres has over 13 years of work experience. In 2007, they began as a Program Development Intern at Agência Surf. From 2009 to 2021, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at DialHost Internet, a Software Programmer at Teknisa Software, a Software Developer/Scrum Master at Optel Group, a Scrum Master at GFT Group, and a Scrum Master at SwiftConnect. At DialHost Internet, Victor was responsible for development team management, ERP and coordination of internal projects. At Teknisa Software, they were responsible for backend development of Mercadum project. At Optel Group, they were responsible for making supply chains smarter by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable API's for traceability systems worldwide. At GFT Group, they were responsible for ensuring the team lives agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices that the team agreed they would use. At SwiftConnect, they were coaching team members, proactively eliminating barriers, and facilitating team delivery on sprint goals. From 2014 to 2015, Victor was a Research Assistant at CEFET-MG and a Researcher at INESC Technology and Science - Associate Laboratory coordinated by INESC Porto. At CEFET-MG, they were responsible for the development of R&D projects within the institution aimed to minimize power distribution networks losses in low and medium voltage. At INESC Technology and Science, they were an invited researcher and was responsible for developing new strategies for preventive maintenance on power distribution networks. From 2016 to 2021, Victor was a Software Developer at Promine Inc., where they were responsible for the analysis, design, implementation and improvement of mining engineering and geology software.

Victor Torres obtained their High School Diploma from Colégio COTEMIG in 2008. Victor then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Centro Universitário de Belo Horizonte in 2012. In 2015, they received a Master's Degree in Mathematical and Computational Modeling from Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais. In 2019, Victor obtained a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Optel Group. Victor also holds a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org, which they obtained in 2022.
