Gregory Hanwell

Gregory Hanwell is an experienced pattern maker and designer with a diverse background in the fashion industry. Currently serving as a Patternmaker at SWIM USA, Gregory utilizes digital pattern cutting software to enhance the development of bathing suits while supporting the technical team. Since 2017, Gregory has also been self-employed, providing pattern-making and sample creation services for independent brands, with work showcased at NYFW. Previous roles include Alterations Specialist at David's Bridal, Associate Designer at Echo Design Group, and various design assistant positions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from Kent State University and training from The Tailoring Academy.
