Chung Siung Choo

Chung Siung Choo is a distinguished academic and professional in the field of Geotechnical Engineering, currently serving as the Director of the Centre for Innovative Society and as a Senior Lecturer at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus since August 2010. With a robust background in civil engineering education, Chung holds a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from Swinburne University and has extensive experience tutoring and supervising engineering undergraduates in various specialized areas. Chung's commitment to the engineering community is reflected in leadership roles, including Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Malaysian Geotechnical Society and Vice Chairman of the Graduate & Student section of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia. Prior professional experience includes work as an Assistant Resident Engineer at Jurutera Jasa (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd., overseeing significant construction projects.
